This guy lights up the room when he walks in and doesn't even need a match.

Danny from NY & Celebrate the Morning home group in Florida

I'm so glad I had the opportunity to record this speaker. I'm sad I was just getting to know him before his passing in 2023. The world in general, not just AA, suffered a great loss the day Danny went to the big meeting in the sky.
 
Rest in Peace brother, God know you earned your rest.

Lisa M on suffering transmuted

I left the world of broadcasting in 2009, I was having difficulty reconciling the world of ego in that industry and the reduction of ego necessary to get out of self in order to recovery from the disease of addiction and suffering. 
I've had many jobs since, but I always missed my love of radio. It was for me a way to connect to others, safely, remotely at times, just an invisible voice in the ether. Talking on shows was often how I worked through things, like therapy....and I just brought you along for the ride. You're welcome??? lol
 
So when my dear friend and I started 2 sober chicks in 2017 I felt that God had given me a gift. Since getting clean and sober I've felt a little remorse around having to "leave it all behind". But with the gift of sobriety and a new pair of glasses, seeing the world through a clearer lense and a new perspective - I realized I don't have to give up broadcasting completely. Through podcasting I could make something uniquely mine and hopefully, carry a message of hope, faith and healing to those like me.

I have some favourite speakers in Alcoholics Anonymous. The late greats such as Clancy, Clarence, Chuck, Sandy. Then the one that spoke to me and made me feel as if I could get sober because HE did, Earl H.

Miss Betty is as hard working as they come. She is the salt of the earth kinda person that makes me want to sit on a stool in a kitchen and snap fresh peas and bake pies with just so I can sit and listen to her tell me some things I know I don't know yet.
